Stimulant Detox Program in CA

Our program supports adults 18+ with substance use disorder through medically assisted detox with 24/7 nursing support. Detox under medical supervision can help adults experiencing stimulant withdrawal symptoms, methamphetamine dependence, misuse of Adderall or Ritalin, or repeated relapse involving prescription stimulants and other substances.

Our 6- to 7-day detox program provides each client with an individualized treatment plan focused on evidence-based modalities and emotional stabilization in a therapy-forward recovery environment. During detox, clients receive hybrid on-site and virtual clinical oversight by medical professionals. Our clinicians monitor physical health, heart rate, sleep disruption, hydration, emotional safety, and withdrawal symptoms while helping clients stabilize in a structured environment.

Unlike detox-only recovery programs, we allow clients to continue directly into residential treatment with ongoing therapy, medication support, and the same clinical team guiding their recovery process, when clinically appropriate.

A Recovery Environment Designed to Reduce Stress and Overwhelm

We provide a family-style setting and calming residential environment rather than a clinical or institutional detox center. Our facility is located in a historic stone building on 2+ acres, with a large backyard, a library, a recreation room, and private, quiet rooms.

With outdoor access, low-stimulation spaces, expressive therapies, shared meals, and opportunities for physical and emotional rest during early recovery, clients enjoy an emotionally supportive atmosphere where they can connect with peers and also reflect on their recovery journey.

Our team of on-site nurses, therapists, counselors, and virtual specialty providers works collaboratively throughout the drug detox and treatment process.

Recovery Support Without a Punitive Environment

Stimulant Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Conditions We Treat

Our detox and rehabilitation treatment programs for stimulant use disorder use a dual diagnosis approach for co-occurring mental health conditions. Recovery support is also focused on polysubstance use, including use of methamphetamines, prescription substances, and ADHD medication.

Methamphetamine Detox and Recovery Support

Similar to antidepressants, withdrawal symptoms for methamphetamines can include cravings, fatigue, anxiety, and restlessness, as well as chills, depression, and mood swings. Stabilizing these symptoms at an accredited treatment center under medical supervision is key when detoxing from methamphetamines.

Prescription Stimulant Dependence and ADHD Medication Misuse

We provide detox and treatment for the misuse of several other stimulants in addition to methamphetamine. Our team treats misuse and dependence on prescription amphetamines, including central nervous system (CNS) stimulants such as Adderall and Ritalin.

Polysubstance Substance Use and Chronic Relapse

Our medically assisted detox program also supports clients experiencing polysubstance use. Polysubstance use occurs when stimulant misuse takes place alongside other substances, such as alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and prescription drugs.

Mental Health Conditions Connected to Stimulant Addiction

Dual diagnosis treatment addresses co-occurring mental health conditions that often go hand-in-hand with stimulant addiction. Co-occurring conditions may include anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic stress, eating disorders, and emotional dysregulation.

Continuing Care and Recovery Planning After Detox

Personalized, integrated care for our clients doesn’t end when detox ends. Once they are medically stable, clients can easily transition into our residential treatment program. Through early discharge planning, they can also receive lifetime access to our aftercare services and referrals for outpatient treatment, sober living, and continued support for lasting recovery.

Short-Term Detoxification and Medical Stabilization

Our detox program assists clients in safely managing stimulant withdrawal syndrome, including symptoms such as cravings, fatigue, anxiety, and restlessness, in a medically supervised environment. Detox allows clients to safely stabilize after withdrawal and feel prepared for entering inpatient treatment.

Transitioning Into Residential Treatment

Residential treatment is recommended for clients with severe stimulant addiction, co-occurring disorders, or repeated relapse. Even when the body is drug-free, clients can still experience intense cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Residential treatment provides the therapeutic support needed for clients to form new habits and prevent relapse.

Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Recovery Referrals

Our team provides referrals to clients for continuing and outpatient care once treatment is complete, including sober living, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and ongoing behavioral healthcare after discharge.

Case managers also assist with transition planning, including transportation coordination, referrals, medication management follow-ups, insurance support, and paperwork that includes FMLA and SDI letters.

Long-Term Recovery Support Beyond Detox

Supporting our clients doesn’t end when treatment does. Our clients enjoy aftercare programs that include alumni support, family engagement, relapse prevention planning, and continued recovery resources.\
