Drug & Alcohol Detox

Most people entering rehab at Align Recovery Centers will require detox services. When you first stop using drugs and alcohol, you’re at risk of mild to severe acute withdrawal symptoms, which may require treatment. Although uncomfortable, this stage of the recovery process is relatively short-lived, and it can be made more comfortable with quality care. We provide inpatient Drug & Alcohol Detox, with high-end technology that takes your vital signs throughout the night so that we don’t have to wake you up. Medication and other treatments (e.g., hydration support) will be administered as needed. 

Residential Treatment 

Align Recovery Center’s residential treatment program is ideal for clients coming from the East Bay area because it provides room and board. With a recommended stay of 30 days (one month), our residential treatment program in Northern California is immersive. Every client at Align Recovery gets a fully personalized addiction treatment plan, regardless of their care level, but a typical treatment schedule will involve: 

• Meals: Your day will start with breakfast at 8 AM. All meals and snacks are provided. 
• Groups: You will participate in 5-7 groups per day. Some will be fun, whereas others will be on the heavier side. 
• Individual Therapy: In addition to groups and group therapy, you’ll participate in regular individual therapy sessions, which allow you to meet with a therapist one-on-one. This is a safe space to talk about your personal goals and anything you might not want to discuss in groups.
• Outings: Align Recovery clients go on multiple outings per week. These usually include 12-step meetings, wellness walks, and fun activities, like bowling or hiking. 
• Family Therapy: If possible, we strongly encourage your family members to participate in our family program, which involves weekly virtual meetings on Wednesday evenings and family therapy sessions.
• Aftercare Planning: Before our residential treatment program is over, we’ll help you make an aftercare plan, whether that involves virtual care, an outpatient program, plans to return to work or school, or something else. 

Align Recovery is built on 2+ acres of land, with vegetable gardens, chickens, and a facility dog named Savannah. The bedrooms and living spaces at Align Recovery are spacious and home-like, with indoor and outdoor communal areas, extensive amenities, and everything else you need to enjoy your stay. 

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Align Recovery Centers is dedicated to addressing the underlying causes of substance use disorders, not just the behaviors that appear on the surface. That’s why we offer dual-diagnosis treatment. Many people facing addiction have one or more co-occurring disorders, like depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dual-diagnosis treatment addresses addiction and co-occurring disorders comprehensively to support positive treatment outcomes like improved psychiatric functioning, fewer medication interactions, and reduced or eliminated substance use.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial hospitalization programs provide intensive treatment in an outpatient environment. Rather than live on-site at Align Recovery Centers, clients in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) stay in sober housing or commute to treatment from home for therapy throughout the week. 

Virtual Care 

Align Recovery Centers provides virtual care, making it possible for clients to stay in touch with their support system once they are back home in the East Bay Area. Virtual sessions are secure, private, and convenient, and they allow clients to continue making progress even if they cannot participate in an in-person outpatient program like our PHP. 

Medication-Assisted Treatment 

Some people with substance use disorders, like opioid or alcohol use disorder, benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT). MAT refers to the use of FDA-approved medication for addiction in addition to therapy services. We provide medication-assisted treatment in California for individuals who find that it supports their recovery.
